The Holidays! Do You Have Exploding Head Syndrome?

Holidays
The holidays are upon us
Yay! and Ugh!
‘Tis the season to be harried
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la
‘Tis the season to be melancholy
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la
Do You Have Exploding Head Syndrome YET?
You do if you’re too busy and feel stressed by the holidays descending upon us.
Or, of course, if you follow the news on a daily basis.
When falling asleep or waking up, do you hear loud noises such as a bomb exploding, a gunshot, a car alarm, a toddler screaming at the top of his lungs in the toy aisle, or (God forbid) a corn chip bag popping in your face?
You may have “Exploding head syndrome (EHS), alternately termed episodic cranial sensory shock.”
There is no cure.

Suggested treatment
Sugar up, watch a cat video, scarf down a mouthful of melatonin, and breathe.
Don’t let the holidaze bite.
Sweet dreams.
