Clown Hysteria: Why is Everybody DOWN on CLOWNS?

Clowns

All the world apparently doesn’t love a clown.

Why the haters?

Clowns: Why is Everybody Down on Clowns?

It seems to be hip to see ALL clowns as “creepy” and zombies as cool.

It’s ironic that zombies streaked in blood and oozing death are deemed benevolent while goofy clowns donned in ginormous polka-dots are most likely evil.

Am I alone, but what’s not to love about red rubber noses, orange wigs, baggy pants, exaggerated make-up, and over-sized floppy shoes?

99.9999999999999999% of Hollywood – and everyone on TV – wears fake hair and too much make-up. So what?

For the record

My favorite zombie is “the tall mixed drink consisting of several kinds of rum, liqueur, and fruit juice.”

Did You Know?

Most clowns are not tools for the fast food industry.

Statistically, less than .0000000000000000000001 % of clowns are serial killers, mass murderers, or pedophiles – fictional or otherwise. Thank you, Stephen King čÖé No doubt, a higher percentage of politicians and pollsters are murderers and/or pedophiles.

You Jest

Do millions of people actually suffer from clown-induced childhood trauma and coulrophobia?

Coulrophobics… are you also afraid of gum drops, glitter, and unicorns?

Seriously. Let us not forget the noble line of clowns and jesters who provided comic relief and savvy fashion sense throughout history!

Sniff

It’s October and I smell a “creepy clown” marketing campaign for Halloween.

Beware balloon animals! You may become extinct.
